Tour of Thailand 2011 "The Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Cup" by Ric Rodriguez

After the prologue of 3.7kms in Chon Buri, Team 7 Eleven-RTS Racing by RoadBike Philippines is in the 17th placing among 24 competing teams led by the Kazakstan national team, Tabriz of Iran the leading Continental team in the UCI Asia Tour 2011 and team coming from Europe, Ausralia, Japan, Korea, China, and other counties in the ASEAN region and with no certified time trialist Mark Galedo is the best filipino rider occupying 50th place in the Individual GC.

But in the 1st stage from Chon Buri to Rayong Province, 195.5kms the second longest stage in the tour with 2 intermediate sprints and 1 cat 3 KOM along the route the team finish in the 3rd group with 3 riders in LLoyd Reynante, Eric Obosa and Mark Galedo (12th, 13th and 14th respectively) The team now occupies 3rd in the Overall Team GC (3:34seconds behind the leading teams of, City of Perth Australia in 1st (14:10:01) HCK Denmark in 2nd (09 seconds behind)  and ahead of powerhouse teams from Iran and Kazakstan etc. also leading the best ASEAN team GC amoing 9 competing teams in the ASEAn Region( Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Myanmar and Vietnam). Mark Galedo also occupies 3rd, Lloyd Reynante 5th and Eric Obosa 6th in the Best ASEAN rider GC.
